Nothing queer about it
Republica, a Nepali news source, reports that the Blue Diamond Society (BDS) recently organized a national consultation meeting of over 200 members of the MSM (men having sex with men), TG (transgender) and LGBTI (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex) community from all over Nepal to deliberate on issues that affect the community, specifically the HIV prevention program.
The national consultation came at a time when Nepal is about to draft its National Action Plan on AIDS for the next couple of years. The results of this consultation will highlight and design the strategic priorities of the country’s response on HIV and AIDS, and assist in allocating resources.
