Rihhaee was a crime thriller series based on the theme of women’s rights that aired on Sony Entertainment TV through the early half of 2005. The HIV/AIDS storyline in this serial revolved around the struggles of a widow who after being detected HIV positive faces accusations and discrimination from her in-laws. A fictional NGO in the show helps her in the struggle to prove her innocence and obtain custody of her son. The story ends on a happy note, with her in-laws accepting her back with open arms. The story was spread over two episodes and these were aired on 13th and 14th July 2005.
